How to reset your password
This article explains how to request a password reset link, what to do if it expires, and how to change your password when already logged in. It also covers important notes for users with Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled.
Reset your password via the login page
If you’ve forgotten your Piclo password or can’t log in:
- Go to the Piclo login page and click Forgot password?
- On the reset page, enter your work email address and select Email me a password reset link
You’ll receive an email with a reset link. This link is valid for 24 hours, so be sure to use it within that timeframe.

What to do if the link expires
If you don’t click the reset link within 24 hours, it will expire. Ask the account admin in your organisation with the role to log in and resend the invitation via Settings → Team → Resend Invite. This will generate a new reset link for you.
Change your password while logged in
To update your password from within Piclo:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to Settings → Account.
- Select Change password and follow the prompts to update your credentials.
Notes for Single Sign On (SSO) users
If your organisation uses Single Sign On:
- You won’t be able to use or change a password via the login screen or account settings.
- When you invite a team member, they’ll receive a magic link instead of a password reset link; this link provides access to your organisation’s account
- It’s best for SSO users to bookmark the magic link for easy access
By following these steps, you can quickly regain access to your Piclo account or assist colleagues who need a password reset. If you run into any issues or your reset link has expired and there’s no Account Admin role user available, contact support for further assistance.
